Zaki Gordon Institute Shorts Film Festival
A community favorite, the annual event is celebrated every memorial day weekend. Screening all ZGI graduates' thesis short films and award winners from high school submissions, there is a lot to celebrate. Exhibiting films for cultural enrichment, community, education, and entertainment, the student film festival is inspiring.

Film Projects
Seeking Production Partners
Each year the advanced certificate program at ZGI participates on a large scale production.
- In 2005, Eastman Kodak gave a grant to the film school which provided students in the advanced program the opportunity to work on a large scale, Kodak 35 mm short film production.
- In 2006, the independent production company AZ Film Link gave students the experience of working on a feature film.
- Last year, students worked on a feature length documentary.
